Total Glassworks grew from a simple belief that people deserve more than rushed installations and distant contractors. We wanted to bring craftsmanship, clarity, and genuine care back into the process. What began as a response to homeowners and builders facing poor fits, delays, and impersonal service has become our mission to create glass installations that feel reassuring, personal, and thoughtfully done.

I’m Caleb Goodpaster, the heart behind Total Glassworks, and my passion has always been turning everyday glass needs into spaces people feel proud of. When Covid hit in 2020 and I faced sudden unemployment, my father, Gary, and I decided to build something of our own instead of waiting for an opportunity to return. Total Glassworks officially opened on October 1st, 2020, with one goal: to be the kind of glass shop, TX that puts people first, values honesty, and treats every home or business with the care we’d want for our own family.
Before starting this journey, I spent 20 years in the glazing field, beginning right out of high school and working my way up to Foreman. Those years taught me the importance of doing the job right the first time, communicating clearly, and never cutting corners. Today, as a leading mirror shop in Austin, our family-built team of 8 brings over 60 years of combined experience to every project. We listen first, guide with patience, and keep you supported from the first conversation to the final reveal. For us, every shower, handrail, or storefront installation is more than a task; it’s a chance to bring comfort, safety, pride, and lasting value into someone’s space, and that’s a responsibility I hold close to my heart.
